The Clean Ohio Green Space Conservation Program helps to fund preservation of open spaces, sensitive ecological areas, and stream corridors.

Senate Bill 4, passed in July 2020, appropriated funds for the Clean Ohio Conservation Program to fund Program Year 2021 (Round 15). Cuyahoga County’s allocation for PY 2021 is $3,324,704. Applications were due on October 30, 2020 and the recommendations to OPWC are due by April 2021.

  • Preliminary Project Rankings
    The project applications submitted for Clean Ohio funding were evaluated and weighted for various factors in the preliminary project rankings. Further discussion of these preliminary project rankings will be held at the NRAC meeting on January 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. To attend the meeting, please register.

Amount Requested

  • Fiscal Year 2021 Requests
    The District One NRAC received eight (8) applications from six (6) applicants. The allocation for PY 2021 is approximately $3.3 million and the total request for OPWC funds is approximately $5.2 million.
