The Cuyahoga County Planning Commission is pleased to announce the following awardees for its 2026 Community Planning Services Program:

•  The City of Bedford Heights for its Citywide Master Plan;
• The Village of Oakwood for its Village Master Plan;
• The City of Rocky River for its Detroit Road Corridor Strategic Plan and Streetscape Design Standards;
• The City of Seven Hills for its Park Connectivity Study; and
• The City of Shaker Heights for its Online Interactive Map.

County Planning received a total of twelve (12) applications by the Wednesday, May 20, 2026 deadline. The five awardee communities will receive professional planning services, provided by County Planning, to complete the work. As part of our overall community engagement strategy, County Planning will develop a scope of work with the awardees, host a web page for each project so that citizens can be notified of public meetings, respond to surveys, review draft materials, and more fully participate in the planning process once it gets underway.
