The Cuyahoga County Planning Commission is pleased to release its 2022 Annual Report highlighting several of our projects and partners. As we strive to advance our newly adopted Mission Statement, “To advance Cuyahoga County’s social, economic, and environmental health through equitable community planning,” we are satisfied that our project work in 2022 truly reflects our mission. County Planning provided professional planning services to individual projects within communities, projects that served multiple community partners, and county-wide initiatives. These projects offer tremendous opportunities to improve the lives of residents and future development in Cuyahoga County.

We are advocating for identified best practices in an equitable manner that will benefit our communities. Our work with project partners on regionally transformative development projects such as the Lakefront Public Access Plan, the Cuyahoga Greenways Plan, Transit-Oriented Development Zoning Study, and the Healthy Urban Tree Canopy Grant Program, holds the promise of boosting the economic and public health of Cuyahoga County and its population. Our agency strives to be a center for excellence in the planning field. We feel strongly that we are making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve in Cuyahoga County, and look forward to advancing best practices in our communities.
