MINUTES OF THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
NOVEMBER 9, 2017
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting of the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission (County Planning) was called to order by Mr. Kelly and the roll call showed a quorum was present.
MINUTES
On a motion by Mayor DiCicco, seconded by Mayor Bobst, the minutes of the August 10, 2017 meeting were duly adopted by unanimous vote.
Councilperson Simon and Mr. Collier arrived at the meeting.
RESOLUTIONS
On a motion by Mayor Infeld, seconded by Mayor Byrne, Resolution 171109-A, approval of a Contract Amendment with the Cuyahoga County Department of Public Safety and Justice Services, Office of Emergency Management for GIS Services.
CHAIR’S REPORT
The calendar for 2018 board meetings was included in the packet to schedule for next year. The 2018 budget has been submitted to County Council that is consistent with last meeting’s conversation; it seems to have the support to continue with operation and growth for County Planning.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S REPORT
Mr. Coyne will give a detailed report at the next meeting for project updates.
ADJOURNMENT
With there being no old business, or new business, Mayor Bobst motioned to adjourn the meeting, the motion was seconded by Mayor Infeld.
The next scheduled meeting will be on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.

SOLID WASTE POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting of the Solid Waste Policy Committee was called to order by Mr. Kelly. Mr. Mathias and Mr. DeMuth joined the meeting as members of the Solid Waste Policy Committee.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S REPORT
Diane Bickett introduced James Skora and Karen Luken from GT environmental, Inc. who gave a PowerPoint presentation updating the Solid Waste Management Plan.
