Cuyahoga County Demographic Estimates
The American Community Survey is an ongoing survey conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau. It includes demographic, housing, economic, and social data at a variety of geographic levels. Below you can find links to American Community Survey summary tables for Cuyahoga County communities and Northeast Ohio counties.
American Community Survey 3-year estimates are based on data covering a 36-month period for areas with populations of 20,000 or greater. The results are more precise, but less current than the 1-year estimates and more current, but less precise than the 5-year estimates.
Note: American Community Survey 3-year estimates were discontinued in 2015 due to budget constraints. The 2011-2013 estimates were released in October 2014 and are the most recent tables available at this level of detail. For current figures at the same population threshold, see the 1-year supplemental estimates.
* The Cleveland-Elyria Metropolitan Statistical Area includes Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, and Medina counties.
† The Cleveland-Akron-Canton Combined Statistical Area includes Ashtabula, Carroll, Cuyahoga, Erie, Geauga, Huron, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, and Tuscarawas counties.
Only data for the most recent 3-year estimates are posted above, because the Census Bureau discourages direct comparisons between estimates for overlapping time periods. Previous 3-year ACS releases are available through American FactFinder.
