Bay Village is planning for a future that builds on an already high quality of life to strengthen its neighborhoods, connect the community, and enhance its “village on the lake” character.

The City received a Cuyahoga County grant to assist in the update of its 1999 Master Plan. The 2016 Master Plan process began in 2015 with the completion of the Bay Village Community Survey.

The plan update is being facilitated by County Planning, but this is very much the community’s plan. The Project Team of City staff and local leaders will focus the plan and keep the process moving.  A Steering Committee of 15 Bay Village residents is meeting to develop and refine the content of the Plan. Public input is collected throughout the planning process, including at three scheduled public meetings.
