It’s that time of year again—the orange barrels are in full bloom. It’s more important than ever to ensure that future construction and infrastructure projects are planned in harmony with protection and enhancement of our green spaces and waterways.

The Cuyahoga County Greenprint is a set of web-based planning and mapping tools for reaching this sustainable balance. Current users include planners, service directors, city council members, and interested citizens. Educators are using it in the classroom for design and civics. Find out how YOU can use the County Greenprint to make your school, home, and community a place thriving with both business and nature.

Greenprint training sessions are open to all. Participants will learn how to use the mapping tool, access best practices, and create basic customized maps. If you have completed a Greenprint training session, you may be interested in an advanced training session. Our first sessions on advanced features will be held in October and November.
